ACC Community Podcast Cheers to Boston Faculty Soccer

Talk about next year’s season when the final whistle sounded in the national championship. When you read about the Eagles online, you can feel a hint of optimism among the national experts. Maybe third in the ACC? Possible dark horse? Praise is rare for the eagles.

ACC network host Kelsey Riggs said on the Gramlich and MacClain podcast that she is high on the Eagles this season. “Which team from last year has so much potential that it might just be used, for me it’s Boston College.” she said on the show. She goes further on how the team bought into Jeff Hafley’s first season and how important that was especially for COVID-19 and that she expects the team to develop further by 2021. The hosts also agreed, as best they can see in Eric MacClain’s tweet below.

Boston College finished last season in Hafley’s freshman year 6-5. They bring almost everyone back on offense minus Hunter Long, and the defense is poised for one more step forward.
