Australian punter Sam Candotti is concerned in Boston School Soccer

Here’s an interesting one: Australian Sam Candotti, a punter, today announced his commitment to Boston College:

First, it is very rare for the word “honored” to appear in such posts. you love to see

Second, Candotti came through the ProKick Australia program, which was set up to transform and transform Australian athletes (such as rugby, Australian rules football) into college-caliber kickers and punters for opportunities in American higher education to point out. Pretty cool.

According to their website, ProKick sent 75 players / table footballers into American college football and spawned 17 All-Americans. Their website also mentions that former Texas kicker Michael Dickson is an alum of their program; Dickson won the Ray Guy Award for the Longhorns in 2017.

There isn’t much information about Candotti’s career available online other than some match reports of his youth performance in Australian rules football, which reads like gibberish to me, though our Australian-based lover Grant Salzano may be able to translate.

However, ProKicker.com, which tracks and rates potential customers of kicks, stabbing, and long snapping, lists Candotti as 5-star punter recruits.

Candotti will enroll in January 2022 according to his tweet that he will be hiring to apply for the job after Grant Carlson completes his red shirt senior year.

Welcome to the heights!
