Castle Rock Autoplex, formerly known as Medved, was acquired by Foundation Automotive Corp., an automotive company based in Denver and Houston, in August 2020, where community engagement and fundraising were at the fore of the company’s core values.

“The current state of the equipment in the Douglas County High School weight room is out of date, disorganized, and lacks the logical order of equipment necessary for a well-organized, holistic, effective, safe, and modern exercise program. Not just for soccer players, but for all DC student athletes, ”said soccer head coach Eric Rice.

“What began as a dream and high goal is now finally coming together thanks to the Castle Rock Autoplex. Jose [Medina] and Travis [Van Spronsen] are truly groundbreaking for so many of our young children, and I cannot thank them enough for their willingness and zeal to help us, ”said Coach Rice.

This partnership between Castle Rock Autoplex and the Douglas County High School weight room renovation is just the beginning of the auto company’s contribution and investment across the community.

“Our new owners team is ready to make a positive impact and invest in our community. We know it takes work to become part of a close-knit community like Castle Rock and we are ready to roll up our sleeves and get to work. We understand the importance of youth sports and are honored to be the title sponsor of the DC Huskies, ”said Jose Medina, Managing Partner at Castle Rock Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram at Castle Rock Ford.

“As a new resident of Castle Rock, I am already impressed with the community and support from all of the businesses and nonprofits here,” said Travis Van Spronsen, Managing Partner at Castle Rock Chevrolet Buick GMC. “I can’t think of a better way to show the community what our corporate values are here at Castle Rock Autoplex and how committed we are to an unparalleled community engagement here.”

Coach Rice has set a donation goal of $ 200,000 and Castle Rock Autoplex was the first to sign up. Castle Rock Autoplex named their donation of US $ 50,000 the title sponsor of the program. The three-year sponsorship extends through 2024 for all varsity and junior varsity soccer games at Douglas County High School (DCHS). The renovated weight room is due to be completed next year and will be available to all DCHS students and employees.

Castle Rock Autoplex is located at Wilcox near downtown Castle Rock and consists of three stores: Castle Rock Ford, Castle Rock Chevrolet Buick GMC, and Castle Rock Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram.

Castle Rock Autoplex is owned and operated by Foundation Automotive Corp., a growing international automotive company with operations in Canada and the United States.
