Excessive College Soccer Rating: Any crew that has appeared within the latest MaxPreps Prime 25 since 2008

MaxPreps crowned his first high school national football champion in 2008 after St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale) finished a 15-0 season by defeating Lakeland 56-7 in Florida’s Class 5A state championship game. Since then, over 150 schools in 31 states have inscribed their place in history by securing a spot in the final MaxPreps Top 25 rankings. See the full list below.

Stories De La Salle (Concord, Calif.) Leads the way when it comes to MaxPrep’s top 25 finishes, 10 in 13 years, including being named No. 1 in 2010. The Spartans were in the top 10 for seven of those seasons with back to back No. 3 in 2014 and 2015.

De La Salle is the only team with eight or more MaxPreps Top 25 finishes, alongside St. Thomas Aquinas, Centennial (Corona, California) and Central (Miami, Florida).

Florida and Texas are on the list of the most diverse schools with 19 each. California is not far behind at 17, while Georgia (11) and Ohio (11) are the only other states with double-digit numbers.
