Georgia Southern Declares New Soccer Video games
STATESBORO, Ga. (WSAV) – Eagle fans have a new list of distant September days to keep their calendars open.
Georgia Southern’s sports division announced several new non-conference opponents Monday. The Eagles will travel to Clemson on September 12, 2026, Kentucky on September 1, 2029, and Ole Miss on September 7, 2030.
Georgia Southern also officially announced a home-and-home series with Eastern Michigan. The front-end game will be played at Paulson Stadium on September 25, 2027, while the latter game will be played in Ypslanti on September 29, 2029.
Some of these games offer the Eagles significant financial guarantees. Georgia Southern will receive $ 1.5 million for the Clemson matchup and $ 1.35 million for the Kentucky game, according to public records. The Ole Miss game will result in a total of $ 1.8 million being paid to Georgia Southern Athletics.
