Highschool groups play spring soccer video games

(WCJB) – The spring soccer game began Friday night in the north-central Florida area, a welcome change from a year ago when the COVID-19 pandemic ended the sport nationwide.

The Trenton Tigers faced Interlachen. The Rams took the lead first and scored a 6-0 touchdown in their first game.

Tiger Jaron Riley had a great first half, scoring two touchdowns as part of 22 unanswered points for the Tigers. Trenton continued against Interlachen in the second half and won the game 38:18.

In Starke, Bradford defeated Newberry 27-7 to announce his arrival in the prime scene. The tornadoes played in Class 4A last season and made it to the region’s semi-finals.

Jeremiah Crum and Isaiah Wilcox scored first-half touchdowns for Bradford. Regular season play for most teams in the NCFL begins in about three months.
