Highschool soccer groups taking part within the three-week summer season coaching interval
OAK HILL, WV (WOAY) – It happens later in the calendar year in the past, but right now high school teams across the state are taking advantage of the three-week summer practice period.
Oak Hill Football held a training session Wednesday morning to prepare for official preseason activities for the next month. Senior Leonard Farrow says it could work in the Red Devils’ favor given that summer training and fall prep are so close. He says it’s another way high school sports get back to normal.
“We came out with a lot of energy, everyone is happy,” said Farrow. “I feel like we play like a team, we come here and work hard. We’re just ready to play. ”
