Jamie Foxx’s faculty soccer coach impersonation goes viral
Oscar winner Jamie Foxx knows his football and also knows how to act like people are playing it. So it’s no wonder he’s capable of posing as a college football coach.
On a recent appearance at Georgia Tech, Foxx looked like a classic southern football coach. In the course of a minute, he checks all the classic boxes: talking about family, imitating football moves, clichés and telling the players how much he loves them.
“Guys, I know you all, I know where your family is from,” Foxx said. “I was in your house, but now that you are in the field, you are mine … I love you all, but I can’t have you all in the field, so someone’s parents don’t go to see their son play.” You won’t have any dirt on your jersey, but that’s fine because I still love you. “
It’s hilarious like we’re only used to from Foxx. The people around him were absolutely delighted with the impression.

Jamie Foxx played the famous quarterback Willie Beamer in the film Any Given Sunday. So he probably studied a lot of college football to prepare for the role.
Foxx will appear as Mike Tyson in an upcoming biopic. Perhaps when he finishes this project he will turn his attention to the latest college football movie.
Would you see a Jamie Foxx movie that portrayed a college football coach?
