Lawrenceburg Excessive College soccer participant dies of most cancers

A Lawrenceburg High School student and soccer player died after battling cancer, the school district confirmed on Saturday. The school district said Brady Gabbard died after being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Superintendent Karl Galey said Brady was in 10th grade. The school counselors are in the high school front office on Saturday from 2pm to 5pm for anyone who needs support. A GoFundMe page shared by the school said 14-year-old Brady was rushed to the hospital last month after experiencing stomach pain and weight loss. Then he received the diagnosis. The school district organized a memorial and service for Brady. It will take place on Tuesday, July 6th, at 6:30 p.m. on the multi-purpose field. Consultants will be on hand to provide assistance.
