This was an important weekend for Boston College Football recruiting, with two commitments made after the visits were over. Linebacker Edwin Kolenge from Canada and defensive end Clive Wilson have both gone public with their announcements. But there are two more mysterious commitments, and we will bring in our predictions and include them.

Our first prediction is for linebackers Gilbert Tongrongou of Woodward, VA. The three-star linebacker has additional offerings from Virginia Tech and Oregon (which to visit). All signs point to the linebacker going to commit in 2022, but most likely it won’t happen until after the Oregon visit.

Tongrongou has been to Boston College twice now, officially attending this weekend and taking an unofficial pickup a few months ago. “I’m looking for a school that will take me in as a family, not just another football player,” he told BC Bulletin when he first received his offer. “” I love the people they have up there, they have a proven track record and they have been real to me from day one. “

The second obligation we have is for Kivon Wright a defensive end from Manvel, Texas. Wright is currently an aspiring senior of 6’4 currently ranked a three-star defensive lineman on 247sports with offerings from Vanderbilt, Boise State, Utah State, Louisiana Tech, East Carolina and Marshall. He also visited Chestnut Hill that weekend.

“I liked that we could talk on a personal level.” Wright told us when he received his offer. “They also emphasized the Boston College coaching philosophy that caught my eye.”

My trust in both Kivon Wright and Gilbert Tongrongou is very strong, and you can Lock both as BC commitments.
