Mississippi Excessive Faculty Soccer Championships will stay in Jackson in 2021

The Mississippi High School Activities Association soccer championships are held in Jackson this year.

MHSAA executive director Rickey Neaves confirmed to Clarion Ledger on Thursday that the 2021 soccer championship will again take place at Veterans Memorial Stadium.

The championship games for 1A to 6A will take place on December 3rd and 4th.

The state championship game has alternated between Mississippi State (2014, 2016), Ole Miss (2015, 2017), Southern Mississippi (2018, 2019) and Jackson State (2020) for the past seven years.

Neaves said the MHSAA board of directors will consider a possible postponement of the championships in 2022.
