Native highschool soccer stars put together for the Nebraska Shrine Bowl

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) – Some of the state’s best high school football talent come together in Kearney for the 62nd Nebraska Shrine Bowl.

The Tri Cities are well represented in both teams:

North team

Parker Janky – Northwest

Eric Lenz – downtown

Michael Maxon – Grand Island

Kelen Meyer – Ord

Tanner Schneiderheinz – city center

Tommy Stevens – Ord

South team

Brady Collingham-Aurora

Cale Conrad – Kearney Catholic

Quin Hale – York

Jameson Herzberg – Aurora

Jack Johnson – Kearney

Ayden King-Doniphan-Trumbull

Logan O’Brien – Kearney Catholic

Carson Shoemaker – Hastings

Tyler Bada – Adams Central

Slade Smith – Adams Central

Kyle Sterup – Osceola

Gabe Van Winkle – Kearney

The Shrine Bowl takes place on Saturday at 6 p.m. in the UNK’s Cope Stadium.
