Prediction of kick-off instances for all Penn State Soccer video games in 2021
ESPN recently kicked off the third week of the Nittany Lions Battle Against Auburn, which will take place in prime time at 7:30 p.m. on ABC. We thought about when the other 11 games would start.
Earlier this week, ESPN announced that the third week Penn State Football Week 3 clash with the Auburn Tigers will be the spotlight as the ABC main game starting at 7:30 p.m. at Beaver Stadium.
Presumably this will be the “White Out” game next fall, as the other somewhat obvious choice would be the Michigan game, which takes place in November. With the trend of things, this could be a sold out crowd of more than 110,000 people and a welcome sign of normalcy for all of us.
Penn State Football’s schedule is full of chalk full of great games, at least on paper. This may not be the only prime time game for this team. However, we’ve seen a shift in college football where not all big games start night, especially with the introduction of FOX’s “Big Noon Kickoff,” where we’ve seen a number of high profile games starting at noon.
With the prime time Auburn game on, we thought about what time and on which channel the other 11 games might be scheduled.
Here is our prediction of tee times and channels for the Penn State Football schedule next fall:
Week 1 – In Wisconsin
This is as big a season opening game as Penn State Football has been playing for a while, and it originally looked like it was scheduled for prime time, but the national college football schedule for Week 1 is loaded.
ESPN has already announced the Saturday, Sunday and Monday Labor Day game for this weekend, so we know it won’t be on their network. The ABC prime time game is Clemson Georgia, making it as big as possible. I think networks will want to avoid competing with this one.
Forecast: 3:30 p.m. at FOX Sports 1
