Prime Virginia highschool soccer gamers getting into the 2021 season

It’s a quick turnaround for Virginia high school football players this year. With COVID-19 postponing the 2020 season to last spring, teams that made it to the state championships have less than four months between games.

When you look at the top players on the Composite leaderboard, you will find that many of the best players in the state are still undecided as to their college football decision. The top five players in the Commonwealth are not required.

The state’s top player, Zach Rice of the Liberty Christian Academy, has a long list of applicants. The 5-Star Offensive Tackle currently has 35 college scholarship offers, including the top 5 in Alabama, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Virginia.

Rice, who is listed at 6-6, 282 pounds, is considered the nation’s best offensive tackle and the nation’s fifth best college football prospect.

Rice’s teammate, Davis Lane quarterback, is the No. 29 recruit in the state. Lane, who, along with Rice Liberty Christian, led to the Virginia 3A semi-finals that spring.

Lane will stay in the state for his college football and will pass his word on to the University of Virginia.

Cornerback Tayvon Holloway from Green Run is the top ranked prospect with a verbal commitment. Holloway, the No. 6 recruit in the state, passed his words on to North Carolina.

Life Christian Academy, which plays an independent national schedule, has four players on the list, led by Trevyon Green, who is considered the No. 16 recruit in Virginia. Like Holloway, Green has given his word to head coach Mack Brown at Chapel Hill, earning the tar heels three of the top Virginia players. The other NC verbal is from recruit # 7, wide receiver Tychaun Chapman of Prince Anne.
