Speaking Bucs repeat, fantasy soccer, extra with DraftKings’ Reid Fowler
Could Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady make the transition to the PGA Tour after – one day – he was eliminated from the NFL?
Not after Reid Fowler from DraftKings, who told me, “Tom Brady is one of the better amateurs. Aaron Rodgers, one of the better amateurs. Steph Curry, some of those guys who are athletes, you even know Patrick Mahomes. We saw the golf tournament with all of these – Travis Kelce and all of these soccer players … you see some of these guys and you know they did well … But I think Brady fits best in these playing shows. “
So maybe we didn’t spot Brady’s next career talking to Fowler on the Locked On Bucs podcast.
The discussion didn’t take place there, however, as we obviously had to capitalize on talking to one of DraftKings’ top fantasy football analysts on the list.
But we didn’t stray too far from Brady when Fowler shared his thoughts on where the greatest quarterback of all time could land on the fantasy football charts in 2021.
“I think he’s a top 10 quarterback or maybe just out there,” said Fowler. “But I made a few ridicules and I saw him leave in the eighth (or) seventh round. Because you’re looking at the offense, right. When you can’t pick the one guy he’ll focus on because he doesn’t. Then why not get the man who is going to distribute the ball … take the man who is going to be part of all the points that are on (Antonio Brown’s), Chris Godwin, Mike. to be distributed Evans, OJ Howard, (Rob Gronkowski) … ”
Brady was great for football and the teams he played for, but he has been influencing fantasy football squads up and down every year. Having a quarterback trying to make the right game results in some downgames for his teammates in the skill position instead of just taking the ball to his stars.
In 2021, the group will get a little more crowded with the arrival of Giovani Bernard, who will compete with Ronald Jones II and Leonard Fournette for snaps, touches, catches, and most importantly, fantasy points.
Fowler spoke to me about how Fournette was overdrawn, Bernard wasn’t drafted at all, and that Jones is the most talented on the Buccaneers’ depths chart.
Should you be designing, tucking, or keeping track of them to avoid lifting the wire for injury? Fowler lets you know about all of that and more. Oh, and he also tells you which Bucs to target, avoid, and names a sleeper to keep an eye on.
Remember that the value of fantasy football is not the same as the real game value.
