SPOKANE, Washington. – Whether or not you received the COVID vaccine for Spokane Shock football, Spokane Arena has announced vaccinated and unvaccinated sections based on the stage the county is in and guidelines for reopening of the state to implement.

They said they are working with the local health department to make it happen and plan to get everything out for the June Shock game while they are still within the boundaries of the reopening guidelines.

The vaccinated sections do not currently affect the concerts on sale, and all shows that are on sale require the facility’s full capacity to advance financially. The arena said the hope and goal is to get enough of the community, get vaccinated and achieve herd immunity so they can reopen at 100% capacity.

The arena bought and implemented a lot of new infrastructure for all three buildings to keep everyone safe during events. This includes digital ticketing systems, cashless concession stands, upgrading the HVAC system with bipolar ionization units, UV handrail disinfection units for all escalators and contactless door openers in the convention center as well as hand disinfection dispensers and typical COVID cleaning in the buildings.
