The most effective New Jersey highschool soccer gamers head into the 2021 season

The two teams that have ranked # 1 in High School Football America New Jersey Top 25 for the past two seasons will be loaded into 2021.

2020 No. 1 Bergen Catholic has three of the top six players in the 247sports.com composite rankings for the 2022 class. The Crusaders also has two of the top seven prospects in the 2023 class.

2019 No. 1 and Non-Public Group 4 Champion St. Peter’s Prep has six players in the top 40 of the ’22 class. The Marauders also have the No. 8 recruits in the class of ’23.

USC recruit Jaeden Gould is BC’s top recruit at No. 2 in the Garden State. The 4-star cornerback gave his verbal acceptance earlier this week.

Gould is one of 18 recurring starters from head coach Vito Campanile. The Crusaders ranked 34th on the 2020-21 High School Football America 100 national ranking, supported by NFL Play Football, the NFL’s initiative to provide a fun and exciting experience for players of all ages and levels.

In the following, Campanile talks about the upcoming 2021 season.

On the other side of the ball, quarterback Steve Angeli will handle the Crusaders offense. During last year’s shortened COVID-19 season, the Notre Dame recruit threw 945 yards, according to NJ.com.

Jayden Bellamy, at number 6, gives Bergen Catholic a great secondary education. Bellamy is a 3-star recruit with offerings from 23 schools including Clemson, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, and Penn State.

St. Peter’s top recruit is defensive lineman KJ Miles with 26 college scholarship offers. The 4-star star has been a major cog in Marauder’s defense since starting out in its first season. Last year he had 28 tackles, four sacks and forced a fumble.

All of SPP’s top recruits are undecided about their college choice. Here are the other top Marauders recruits – Trent McGaughey is the state’s ninth recruit; Cornerback Avery Powell is ranked 13th; Defensive lineman / linebacker Kenny Soares is in 20th place; Offensive lineman Andre Oben, son of future NFL offensive lineman Roman Oben, is rated No. 29 in Garden State; and security Christian LaBrun is the No. 38 recruit.

The state’s No. 1 Recruit is Jacob Allen of the Hun School.
