The tight finish of Buffalo Invoice’s Dawson Knox is off the fantasy soccer radar in the intervening time
While the start of the 2021 NFL season feels like the distant future, fantasy football blueprints will be here before we know it. This series will take an early look at the Buffalo Bills and some fantasy football expectations for this season.
One of the hottest topics for fans of the Buffalo Bills this offseason was the close finishing position. The discussion continues to focus on the potential of Dawson Knox and a possible takeover of Zach Ertz.
While Knox finished the 2020 season relatively decently, he doesn’t appear in ESPN’s top 25 consensus rankings (Ertz comes in 25th to provide context) After a promising rookie season, many expected Knox to take the “next step” in his second season. Injuries and a fight with COVID-19 impacted its production, where it ended with 24 receptions on 44 targets, including three touchdowns. Fans are well aware that the Bills rely heavily on the wide receiver corps, but Knox certainly needs to make more of the goals he receives.
The 2021 season will be pivotal for Knox to see if he can leverage the athleticism he brings to the position. Unfortunately, he’s no more than a bye-week streamer in standard fantasy leagues.
