Before Zach Wilson got berzerk at BYU, the newest Jets quarterback in high school was on the ball.
Wilson used his arm strength and agility to lead Corner Canyon to the 2017 UHSAA Class 5A semifinals. Despite failing the championship, Wilson finished his senior season with 2,986 yards and 24 touchdowns. He also rushed for 752 yards and eight touchdowns.
His ability to play in high school looked incredibly similar to his high points at BYU. Wilson threw the stone with ease and precision and also showed his ability to be quick.

After initially joining Boise State, Wilson ended his three-year BYU career with 7,652 yards, 56 touchdowns, and 15 interceptions. He also completed 67.5 percent of his passport attempts in college.
Wilson broke out in 2020 after finishing 3,692 yards, 33 touchdowns, and just three interceptions. He added 286 rushing yards and 10 rushing touchdowns.
