UIL permits highschool soccer matches to be streamed stay

SAN ANGELO, TX – The University Interscholastic League will again enable high school soccer games to be streamed online live this fall.

There was no live streaming of high school soccer games prior to 2020 and COVID-19. It was allowed last season due to the restrictions and restrictions on participation due to the pandemic.

But now high school games live streaming is going to be a regular thing.

This only applies to online streaming and on-air broadcasts are still not allowed.

It wasn’t a unanimous decision, but the committee voted to stream the games live. The ruling currently only applies to the 2021 season.

Most counties approved the ruling.
